So are you saying these companies should not have made any vaccines ? or should have held onto them until 2030 so they could do exhaustive testing, if they didn't make them you may not be here to post on this forum. I don't get why there is such a problem with how quickly they made a vaccine, things are advancing at phenomenal rates in every area these days, especially the medical area. Just because it took 10 years in the older days to possibly make a medication for something doesn't meant...

Walk away and do as suggested to get the occupational therapist to make the suggestion. If the person doesn't want to spend money doing anything, and it's the only bathroom in the house you are in a no-win situation. Best of to not touch anything as it will end up in tears guaranteed.

No I don't think that, where is the proof of this ? because this drug is already approved for use in humans for certain problems. It's most likely, people are purchasing it from vet supplies because they are brainwashed by anti-vax nutters and the wealth of mostly rubbish information available online, their doctors won't prescribe it because they know it hasn't been proved to be effective. It's the same as a cult or religion, the uneducated are the victims, they are being tricked into...

METRIX replied to a thread Boards upside down…. in Flooring
All cypress boards I have seen in NSW always have the small angle on the bottom of the boards, I believe it's because it splinters very easily. The groove allows for this splintering when installing so it doesn't raise the board at the join. Cypress is one of the only boards I have seen with a non grooved bottom face.

You are not located around warriewood by chance ? I have seen two floors done the same way in that area. Guarantee you will never get the boards up without completely destroying them. Choices are. 1: Have the boards sanded down the 3mm to get rid of the distinctive V groove, I have seen it done and probably equates to having the boards sanded twice. 2: Go over them with a tile underlay and put tiles in there. 3: Rip them up and start again. 4: Just leave it, take the money and...

Sigma or Rubi are the best, the DTA one looks like a Sigma copy, might be ok. The round bar ones are useless they are pushed at the basic home user, all made from pressed metal accuracy very dubious, ability to do repeated straight cuts in Porcelain's forget it. The only round bar ones that are ok are Rubi.

Sounds like a bad idea to me, you can cut the bath but will make a real mess of what's there and most likely a tripping hazard with sharp edges. It could be done another way, but will still be a messy job. It looks like a drop-in spabath, you could take the bath out and cut a larger opening, remove the existing brickwork at the opening to floor level, leave the rest of the brickwork in place So it would essentially be a walk in shower, waterproof and retile the insides with...

NSW just got on with it, the guys got the vaccine and got back to work at 50% capacity, from Monday 27th 100% capacity for construction, with some rules. https://twitter.com/i/status/1440194156643557383 ...

Not sure where you got the K10 Plus price from , even Bunnings sell it for $165, the extra 5l won't go to waste they will use it. Get what the waterproofer want's this way there is no complaints if something goes wrong. Before you try to save a $50, I would be asking if the tiler is a licensed waterproofer, if he is not I would not have him do the waterproofing as he cannot offer a warranty on work he is not licensed to do. If something goes wrong, it will cost you much than $50.

The ones who are complaining about it have probably never eaten there and never would have eaten there so it's irrelevant. A three course meal is around $150 / four course $180, so it's on the higher side of dining out, not everyone is comfortable paying that much for a dining experience. I don't care either way, if the restaurants are mandated by gov't to only serve double vaxd then that's what they are required to do until things change. If the gov't doesn't mandate it, and the...

Exactly, why there is so much fuss over a covid vaccine astounds me, I haven't had flu vaccine for over ten years, not because I'm an anti-vaxxer I just never found the need for it. The times I did take it, I got sick anyway so I didn't see the point of it, interesting to see the flu death rate over the last five years, where was all the hysteria in 2017 when 1181 people died from this and 2019 902 people. Did peoples lives all of a sudden become more important, Total covid related deaths...

As I said earlier that's ok if you want to do that, nobody is stopping you from doing whatever you think is better for yourself, there is a bigger risk for that scenario if you were out in the community on a daily basis. If you're happy to sit at home in an isolated situation and rarely go out, that can work for you. I'm talking about the majority of people especially in the LGA's they don't have the luxury of waiting 3 months between shot one and two, if we did that NSW would be in...

I also believe this, I don't think we will get to zero cases even by Christmas, I hope I'm wrong, but can't see it happening as it hasn't happened anywhere else. I get the feeling this thing is going to be with everyone for a long time. Even if we do get to zero, once international borders reopen, it's not a case of we might import it again, it's a case of how long will it take to have it back in the community, guaranteed. One thing we have up our sleeve is late take-up of the...

Definitely, old Cypress is as hard as nails, I am surprised this floor came up as good as it did, I know from sanding any Cypress repairs, this would have been a tough job with a Random Orbital.

NSW / Sydney is getting a Multi Billion $ upgrading / expansion, all taking place while pandemic is underway. . Starting to look good at Central Station, this is only one of the stations going through major upgrades / expansion, as well as expanding the Metro network as a cracking rate. This video gives an overview of the new stuff going in, including another tunnel under the harbour bridge.
