I don't know why I put that size as the cantilever. It's only about 1000-1200 at most. I'll check through the span tables as suggested - didn't see what i was looking for last time but maybe I just...
Hi all,

Thanks mate. Looks like I'm off shopping for a new bit of gear!
HI Beford and r3nov8or,
Thanks for your replies. I've taken some photos today to show you the problem. Thanks for confirming that the back extension is easily sorted.
I know now looking at...
Hi everyone,
I'm owner-building an extension on my home and while I recognised a problem on the back extension yesterday, I hadn't noticed the same problem on the front extension.
Basically I...
Thanks Brian. I'll take some time to digest your suggestions and rework my plan. Thanks for your help so far!

Hi Brian,
Thanks for your response. Apologies for not including the dimensions - obviously an oversight because I meant to add them!
The joist spacings are 450mm.
The post spacings across the...
Hi everyone,
I've just joined the forum after a long time reading posts and now it's my turn to ask for some advice and feedback. We've just installed an above ground pool, which is semi-inground...
